| Harrold residents commute to a
wide variety of places, including London, Bedford, Northampton,
Cambridge, Milton Keynes and Luton. A survey in 2000 revealed that
78 per cent of those who work travel outside the village in order
to do so. While the majority travel to work by car, there is good
regular bus service to Bedford and Rushden.
