|Bedford Choral Society
Bedford Choral Society presents a wide range of choral music to suit
all taste. Programmes include works from the full choral repertoire,
classical and modern, as well as a selection of shorter or lighter
works from all generations. In recent years the society has also commissioned
and performed new works by British composers.

Presents monthly concerts from October to March on Thursday evenings at either Bedford High School for Girls or at the Bunyan Meeting Free Church.
|The Marianettes Amateur Musical Comedy Society of
The Marianettes stage two musicals a year and a pantomime at
Christmas. They present a public concert of songs from the musical
theatre each year.
|Bedford Amateur Operatic Society

Bedford Amateur Operatic Society uses The Place for shows and also
The Civic Theatre, for its Old Time Music Hall.It usually presents
two musicals a year, plus an enormously popular "Old Time Music
Hall" providing entertainment and refreshment.
English Sinfonia is a professional chamber orchestra resident in Stevenage .From
this central Hertfordshire base, English Sinfonia's concert-giving
extends into Cambridgeshire, Essex, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire,
Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Suffolk,
plus regular concert series in Mansfield, Wellingborough and Rickmansworth
and the occasional foray further afield.
|The County Youth Orchestra

both private and state schools throughout the county. Competition
for places is very keen.
|The Philharmonia Orchestra
The Philharmonia Orchestra has been resident orchestra at Bedford
Corn Exchange since 1994, performing on average eight concerts a
year, as well as a full and varied programme of education and community
activity in the local community.
|Milton Keynes City Orchestra
Milton Keynes City Orchestra presents an annual subscription season
featuring the great classics, with the emphasis on entertainment and
on making live classical music accessible to all. Concerts take place
in the relaxed, comfortable surroundings of Milton Keynes Theatre
in the heart of the city.
|Northampton Concert Band
The Northampton Concert Band is the leading community band in Northamptonshire
and one of the top bands of its kind in the country. It has a high
standard of musicianship and performance, and has won several awards,
including GOLD and SILVER, in national wind band festivals
|Rushden Town Band
Rushden Town Band is a Fourth Section brass band, based in Rushden,
Members play at various events throughout the year including concerts,
garden fetes, village shows and bandstand appearances. They also intend
to compete in 2 contests each year. They are members of the Leicestershire
Brass Band Association and the British Federation of Brass Bands.
They are fairly versatile & even have their own Oompah Band -
the R T Blasters!
|Bedford Town Brass Band
The Town Band caters for advanced, experienced players and rehearses
twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.00-10.00pm at the
Reading and Recreation Club, 1 Barkers Lane.
BedfordConcert Brass is a non-contesting band which meets from
7.15-8.45pm on Monday evenings at Bedford Modern School, Manton
Progress Brass caters for the less experienced players and meets
on Thursdays from 6.30-7.45pm at the Bandroom in Barker's Lane,
