HARROLD JUNIOR CRICKET

The Junior Section is a vital and vibrant part of Harrold Cricket Club.
With over 150 Junior members the nets are put to good use on most summer evenings. Coaching takes place on Friday nights on Harrold Playing Field.
The Club enters teams to Bedfordshire County Competitions in six age groups and a significant number of Harrold Juniors have gained County Honours.
The Club actively encourages Juniors by introducing capable players to senior cricket when appropriate.
Some have gone on to play for First Class Counties at academy level and one past Harrold Junior, Will Smith, plays for Durham County Cricket Club.

It is not unusual for there to be a waiting list at Harrold Cricket Club so please make contact early. The number of Juniors that can receive cricket coaching is related to the number of coaches available. Parents with cricket coaching experience are therefore always welcome, as this allows us to expand the Junior Section.
