There is no subscription fee, just the opportunity to join in with any of our activities. There is no obligation to host a French family, although of course that is one of our main aims.

What’s involved with being a host?

The ability to provide accommodation and a few meals for your French guests for the duration of their visit to England, usually 3 to 4 days. We always try and match hosts and guests. A full calendar of events is laid on, including outings, entertainment, picnics and more formal meals.
In return you have the opportunity for a reciprocal visit to Sainte Pazanne. The only cost to you is transportation between England and France and for any presents you may wish to give to your hosts.

How do I get to Sainte Pazanne?

There are various ways, the choice is yours. Some people take their own cars. Some fly to Nantes and get collected by their hosts. We also lay on a minibus, using an overnight crossing from Portsmouth.

What if I can’t speak French?

Don’t worry, you’re not alone! A number of our members speak French and some of our French friends speak English. Language is not a barrier.
