Aims of the Association
The Harrold Twinning Association was originally formed in 1992 with the aim of -
| Promoting friendship and cultural understanding
across international borders Providing a joint understanding of the language, cultural and commercial similarities Providing the opportunity for us to make friends, improve language skills and sample the “French way of life” |
What do we get involved in?
Every two years members from Harrold and the surrounding area visit Sainte Pazanne, a small town in the north-west of France, to stay with our host families.
On alternate years, members of Sainte Pazanne’s Twinning Association come to stay with us in England.
To fund these visits we hold a number of friendly social events throughout the year, to which all are invited. These events include wine tastings, safari suppers, walks, treasure hunts and barn dances. Look out for our posters around Harrold or our “Forthcoming Events” page.
