Surgery Information
The reception opening hours are-
Weekdays -8.30am to 6.30pm: Saturdays (Dispensary only - 9am to 1pm)

Fast Track Clinic-
Monday to Friday from 9-10.30am
This is not a pre-bookable clinic and patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis. The clinic is run by the duty doctor and the minor illness nurse. The clinic is designed for problems that cannot wait for a routine bookable appointment. The maximum appointment time is 10 minutes and patients are requested to present with 1 problem only. Patients who need a medication review should not use fast track. There is no need to 'phone.All patients who present before 10.30am will be seen by either the doctor or nurse.
The Minor Illness Nurse can prescribe
-Urgent appointments-
Patients who telephone after the Fast Track clinic time will be triaged by the doctor to assess whether they need a same day appointmentor if the problemcan wait until Fast Track the following day.
-Home Visits-
-Emergencies-
If the routine lines of 01234 720225 are engaged,in the case of an emergency only, there is a dedicated daytime line 01234 721015.
(This is only for use in emergencies which occur during the hours of 8.30am-6.30pm Monday to Friday)
Speaking to the Doctor
On weekdays it will be possible to speak to the duty doctor between 11.30am and midday if you have a medical problem that you would like to discuss.If you have a medical problem that you think can be dealt with over the telephone, then individual doctors are available by 'phone as follows:

Dr Slaghuis - Wednesday
Dr Ross- Thursday

The clinics given below are available at the surgery at the times given BUT they all need to be booked by 'phoning the surgery.
Baby Clinic-Monday afternoon
Coronary Heart Disease Clinic-Monday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon
Eczema Clinic-Tuesday afternoon
Antenatal Clinic-Wednesday afternoon
-Child Health Care-
Pre-school children will receive regular appointments for their developmental checks and the Health Visitor holds an open access clinic from1.30pm-3.30pm every Monday, for which no appointment is necessary. The Practice nurses vaccinate children during their routine surgeries according to the nationally recommended guidelines.
