Harrold,in the Twenty-first Century, has continued to expand and to add to its wide repertoire of building styles now spanning nine centuries. Three significant developments have already taken place: Eagle Way was largely completed in 2003 and occupies the former Eagle Works which played a large part in the village's leather industry. The development originally known as Primrose Place was constructed by national builder, Bryant, and occupies the former Bridgman timber factory which was Harrold's largest employer at the end of the last century. The third development, originally referred to as Pilgrims' Landing, was constructed by another national builder, Redrow. This land was originally occupied by Harrold's earliest settlers 4,500 years ago.
